Breaking Social Norms
Referring back to my previous post, we all seem to stereotype politicians and have these preconceived assumptions about them. I assume a politician is a well educated person that has went to college for what ever position they hold and they then obtain a political job that they do for the rest of their life until they retire. I don't know if any body else has ever thought that way, or if it is just me. But, doesn't it seem a little out of the ordinary when an actor, especially one that tends to be in a lot of violent films, becomes a governor? When I was younger and heard of Arnold Schwarzenegger being the Governor of California I thought, "who would ever trust him?" Though I know very few things about him, what his political view points are and if he even was a great Governor I still think that him once being in such an important position in the government is just plain weird.
