Research into Action
My title may be miss leading, but I have cleared up some confusions and basically have my full idea set up. I am still going to focus on all age groups. I decided that through the "two religions" people base their votes off of, which one of the religions can be guided by a narcissistic politician who is very cunning, I will be able to ask my survey questions. I do not really want to say what I will be asking since I don't want to change anyone's answer if they ever read my blog. I am just not taking any chances. But basically I will be asking questions that fall under the religions of blind obedience and the other which is for doing what is right for the better of the community. However, the political questions I will be asking will be about "right" leader and the "wrong" leader. I will not say if either one is right or wrong, nor will they appear that way. Maybe they will if you have the right mind set. Hopefully this will show if people are miss guided during elections. I plan on taking some questions and theories from more articles for my archival research. I hope to expand on the few that I have now, and then add to them so then I can add more questions to my survey.

Research Project Idea!!!!!
Have you ever wondered during elections, why people vote for the person they do? I mean aside from what the candidate is offering or says they will offer to society. I know I haven't until when I was researching Psychology and Politics online and found some interesting studies. I found this idea that people don't solely vote for their candidate based of off their political stances, but also on a certain religious stance. Have more information I need to gather. But, I decided to expand my research more and found that it is known that some politicians have a disorder called, Narcissistic Personality Disorder. This is basically when people are very cunning, manipulative, and cocky/confident in their demeanor; and lets face it most politicians have these qualities.
So based off of the little bit of information I gathered thus far, I decided to approach my sociology research project with two forms of research incorporated together. I will basically be doing Archival Research, which is just taking articles that have already been published about my topic and then expanding with other articles or any other documents that have been published. This will allow me to back up my topic. But another important research method that I will be doing is a survey. I still need to figure out how I want to approach the survey. Right now I am thinking of asking people of all ages questions that will allow me to see who they would vote for based off of certain questions. The questions will not just pertain politics, some will be about random things. As you can see, this is all needs to be organized a bit more. For now though, these two research methods together will help me get ideas and more info about how and why people vote for the person they do. Then when I send out the surveys I can see for myself who people voted for based off the questions I gave them, and this could either make or break my idea. Hopefully it will make it, or else this whole post would be awkward. Hahahahaha

Presidential Debate
I know that most people must have watched the debates last night because my twitter was blowing up with many unintelligent people trying to be intelligent. I think when the debates are on people get a little frisky at candidates and find a way to let out their emotions on twitter. I did not even have to watch the debate to know what was going on because I was getting the stream of events told to me on twitter, in simpler language as well. But, from reading this article I can see that most of the people I follow on twitter do not understand politics and clearly did not understand what was going on or actually being said. I think people just jump to conclusions and do not really look at who is running to be president. I still do not know who I would vote for if I was eligible to vote. Things I do take into account is how Romney does not offer much for women, I know we are equal nowadays. But, taking away planned parenthood? Good luck with getting all those orphaned children off the streets. With their teen Mom leaving them in the trash because could not get birth control or an abortion so she got scared and ditched the baby, knowing their would be no father in the child's life. I know this is a very bad example since these young Mom's and Dad's are usually immature and not ready to be adults yet, let alone should be acting this promiscuous. However this is real life, people are going to act this way no matter what you say. It is not like you can make sex illegal. How about all those rape victims, what are they going to do if they get pregnant. It may be too traumatizing to be walking around pregnant with a felons baby that you do not even know, you may not even be able to support. I think I am getting a little to political right now, and I am not trying to bash Romney. I think he has some valid ideas to help America. I do think that everyone should read this article though and see what went on during the presidential debate last night. CNN- Presidential Debate Highlights
